Brazil Rotary 4th of July Celebration

This year marks the 83rd year for the annual Brazil Rotary Club 4th of July Celebration at Forest Park in Brazil.

The celebration will kick off on June 26th and last through July 4th.

Starting mid-June, advance ride bracelets $15 will be on sale at area banks, Brazil Family Restaurant, and Dairy Queen.  Bracelets are $20 starting June 26 when bought during the celebration.

Bracelets to ride all rides are $20 sold each night at the park.

Food booths run by area non-profit organization and churches will be open July 2-4.

Below is a schedule of events for each day:

Tuesday, June 26
5:30 p.m. – Midway opens (Pay one price bracelets – $20)
Single ride tickets available at ticket booths
4 – 7 p.m. – Northview Fish Fry @ Pavilion (proceeds go to Northview Band)
$9 adults, $6 children 12 & under in advance; Add’l $1 if bought day of Fish Fry
6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. – Northview Marching Knights and North Clay Middle School Cadet Corps

Wednesday, June 27
Special People’s Day 1 – 2 p.m.
5:30 p.m. – Midway opens (Pay one price bracelets – $20)
5 p.m. – Toni’s Tumbling & Dance Studio
7 p.m. – Studio One Dance by Cindy

Thursday, June 28
5:30 p.m. – Midway opens (Pay one price bracelets – $20)
Single ride tickets available at ticket booths
7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. – The Van-Dells

Friday, June 29
5:30 p.m. – Midway opens (Pay one price bracelets – $20)
Single ride tickets available at ticket booths
7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. – Mullet Over

Saturday, June 30
8 a.m. – Clay County YMCA Firecracker 5K Walk/Run-Start/Finish @YMCA
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. -5th Annual Little Miss./Mr. America Pageant presented by Xclusive Pageantry, Olivia Young 812-223-0142. ($25. entry fee applies.)
3 p.m.: Midway opens – pay one price bracelets – $20.
Single ride tickets available at ticket booths
8:00pm – Henry Lee Summer performs

Sunday, July 1

7:30pm – Brazil Concert Band

Monday, July 2

Wednesday, July 4

3 p.m. – Midway opens-pay one price bracelets – $20.

Memorial John J. Thomas 43rd annual Sack Races in the Park
4 p.m. – age 7 and under; 4:15 p.m. – age 9 and under; 4:30 p.m. – age 11 and under;
4:45 p.m. – age 13 and under; 5 p.m. – age 15 and under. Cash prizes for all entrants.
7 p.m. – Big Fun Band
10 p.m.: GALA FIREWORKS SHOW
11 p.m. – Drawing for $10,000 GRAND PRIZE**

SHOW TIMES MAY CHANGE

*Depends on weather conditions. Entertainment is scheduled for Band Shell,
unless rain requires move to Pavilion
